Ribbed Cotton T-Shirt — Militare
Militare reads as a deep army olive, garment-dyed after the shirt was sewn, so the colour settles unevenly across the rib — darker in the channels, dusty on the raised cords. The finely ribbed cotton skims the shoulders and chest before falling straight to a raw-cut, elongated hem. Neckline and short sleeves are left raw too, edges rolling with no binding or topstitch.
Turned around, the back carries the work: a horizontal yoke seam meets a vertical centre seam, splitting the panel into quarters whose rib runs in opposing directions. The dye pools darker along those seams, making the shift in grain and tone the back's only ornament.
