Black, matte and even across a 190 g cotton jersey, with the back seams picked out in white thread against it.
A raglan seam runs from the neckline to the underarm. The round neck is cut wide and left raw, the edge curling a little where it was cut; the sleeve openings and the curved hem are finished the same way. Across the back, a horizontal yoke seam and a vertical centre seam are worked in contrast thread — a wide, ladder-like scar stitch that continues down the diagonal side panel.
