Black, matte and even, with the scar stitch picked out in grey against it and the drawcord left black.
The waist is elasticated and gathered, with a flat drawcord left long at the front. The seat drops low and the leg runs wide and straight to just below the knee, hemmed clean. Slash pockets sit at the side seams and a patch pocket is set on the back, its edge worked in a scar stitch that carries on down the panel.
